The first gig I ever shot as a full-access media-credentialed photographer was a doozey.  It was September 25, 2008 at Kool Haus.  In I strolled to the photo pit, trying to look cool and like I knew exactly what I was doing.  To most of the experienced photographers, my lack of earplugs (rookie move), probably gave it away that I was fresh blood.  The fact that is was a My Bloody Valentine concert made the rest think I was off my rocker.  What followed was a mind-blowing, ear destroying experience that cemented my love for the 3-song-out world of concert photography.  But my love for Shoegazing started two-decades earlier and is stronger than ever today.
